Six McDonald's stores in the Tampa Bay area now offer $7-a-trip delivery service as a form of fast-food catering to businesses. It's a test by Caspers Co., the area's largest McDonald's franchisee, to cater informal group breakfasts, snacks and lunches. Anything from the McDonald's menu is available, much of which can be kept warm in chafing dishes for make-your-own-meal buffets. Delivery is limited to within 5 miles of the four participating restaurants in Tampa and one each in Brandon and St. Petersburg. Same-day orders, which must be paid in advance by credit card, can be placed online at mcdonalds2u.com or phoned in at (813) 281-2379.
