Shop lets cupcake lovers customize
Instead of creating a fictional cupcake on one of those popular apps that lets you pick from an array of cake flavors, icings and toppings, customers can try doing it for real at a new shop called Sweet! at 1100 Fourth St. N. Choose from six flavors of cake, five kinds of icing and 18 toppings to create a custom cupcake for $2.50. Cake flavors include the usual vanilla and chocolate plus red velvet, carrot and white chocolate. Customers can smear on some vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, cream cheese or lime icing and add up to three sprinkles of topping such as Oreo cookies, coconut, Pop Rocks or chocolate-covered pretzels.
