NEW TAMPA — For urgent medical issues, there's now another alternative to consider.
Anista New Tampa, an urgent care center, provides immediate treatment for people who want to avoid going to the emergency room or waiting for an appointment at a doctor's office, said Christi Hammes, director of marketing.
This area needed an urgent care center, Hammes said, and the facility's 2,000 square feet with five exam rooms, digital X-ray equipment and on-site laboratory should shorten a patient's stay.
"As our community continues to grow, the need for comprehensive medical services also increases," Hammes said. "We see Anista as a great opportunity to support the strong relationships with our area primary care physicians by providing after-hours support for their patients."
